The LVCVA and Harry Reid International Airport have not yet released their August reports. Truist Securities analyst Barry Jonas isn’t expecting a major rally.
Jonas projected on Friday (Sept. 18) in his Las Vegas room survey a soft third quarter. Jonas said Q3 rates for Las Vegas Strip casino rooms are “mostly lower,” with MGM Resorts rooms down 9% and Caesars Entertainment down 11%.
August rates trended lower, with Strip Proxy down -14%, MGM -17%, Caesars -18%, and Wynn Resorts flat. September is also lower with Strip Proxy down -10%, MGM -11%, Caesars -15% and Wynn +2%, as weekend rates were a bit higher but weighed down by the still soft weekday rates,” Jonas wrote.

In the dossier, Spectrum unpacks Evolution’s review and vetting processes for potential clients. At the time of the report, Evolution required clients to provide certification of the beneficial ownership of 25% or more of the company. But Spectrum says it was not using “a viable process” as some documents provided by companies could be inaccurate.
“If red flags become known to Evolution during this onboarding process, Evolution should either determine not to do business with the company or undertake enhanced due diligence to resolve the red flags before engaging in business with the company,” Spectrum advises.
Within its investigation Black Cube named a number of Evolution employees which it had interviewed and reported to have provided information on the company that supported the intelligence firm’s claims.

Enda Kendrick, chief executive of service provider Veltium, similarly says the largest UK and European sharp-betting groups have moved rapidly into US prediction markets.
